BGTC Allied Health Students Receive Awards

Respiratory student Marlina Woosley received the Outstanding Allied Health Student of the year award.

Bowling Green, KY - Sixteen Allied Health students from Bowling Green Technical College were honored with awards presented at the annual Allied Health Award Ceremony March 28, 2012 on the Main Campus of the College.
Awards were presented in the categories of:
Award of Academic Excellence - In recognition of achieving excellence exhibited by maintaining the highest program GPA.
Award of Clinical Excellence – In recognition of the high level of clinical proficiency achieved and maintained.
Excellence in Leadership – In recognition for demonstrating outstanding leadership skills and integrity consistently exhibited toward fellow students.
Overall Program Excellence – In recognition of achieving excellence in academics, clinical proficiency as well as for the integrity consistently exhibited toward fellow students.
Overall Program Excellence – In recognition of overall excellence among all student in the Allied Health programs.
Awards in each category were given to students in the Allied Health programs of: Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Surgical Technology, Respiratory Care, and Radiography.
