BGTC HONORS OUTSTANDING FACULTY AND STAFF WITH AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE

Bowling Green, Ky. (December 2, 2011) Bowling Green Technical College honored three employees as recipients of the Award of Excellence at a recognition ceremony December 2, 2011.

Recipients were chosen by their peers in the categories of: Outstanding Administrative Staff, Outstanding Support Staff, and Outstanding Faculty.

Nominees for Outstanding Administrative Staff were selected in recognition of their demonstrated exemplary performance in position responsibility, internal and external service, professional and organizational development, and leadership at Bowling Green Technical College.

Nominees for Outstanding Support Staff were selected in recognition of their exemplary work ethic, extraordinary impact, and their positive connection with students and colleagues at the  College.

Nominees for Outstanding Faculty member were selected in recognition of their demonstrated exemplary teaching performance, student guidance and advising, internal and external service, professional and organizational development, and educational leadership at the College.

Each of the 16 KCTCS colleges selects an outstanding staff member and outstanding faculty member for the current year. These 32 recipients, along with one staff member chosen from the KCTCS System Office in Versailles, will be honored at the New Horizons Awards Banquet.
