Academic Resources for Students

Our primary goal is for you to succeed. With that in mind, we offer a variety of services and programs to help you achieve your academic and career goals.

What kind of help can I get?  

• Academic support centers, which provide tutoring and teach study skills.
• Adult basic education, which, if you are 16 or older and not enrolled in public schools, teaches basic skills to start or continue your education.
• Assessment Center, which provides GED, WorkKeys, computer literacy, business, and industry testing.
• Transition education, which provides instruction in basic reading, writing, and math.
• Peer and professional tutoring, through which exceptional fellow students and faculty offer help.   

What kind of tutoring help can I get?

Our tutors help you study certain subjects, offer individual and group study sessions, assist with e-mail and computers, and provide other services requested by instructors.
