Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (formerly Bowling Green Technical College) was forged from the needs of America. Born from the need to train youth, industrial workers, and armed forces personnel during World War II, the school has constantly evolved responding to an ever changing demand for well trained employees, offering relevant high quality education and training for high demand careers.
As the needs of industry shift and technology develops, Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) responds. The College now offers over 30 degree, diploma and certificate programs in four major areas of study on six campus locations in Bowling Green, Glasgow, and Franklin, Kentucky.
The fast career track offered by SKYCTC means education and training offered for specific high demand careers. Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College keeps in step with technological advances such as advanced labs and classrooms.
Because the college maintains a close relationship with business and industry, training is always on the cutting edge. In short, students learn what businesses need to get the job done. Small classroom sizes mean that faculty can provide individualized instruction. Students are given the personal attention they deserve. The cost of obtaining a degree continues to be one of the lowest in the state making it one of the best education values for the dollar.
As part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, SKYCTC prepares students for success in the university, in the workplace and in life.
